Portland Folk Festival Lineup

The Portland Folk Festival is an annual celebration of the fascinating American Indian culture in Portland. This year's festival lineup has some of the most popular Native American artists as well as bands and DJs from around the Portland area and beyond. With free live music throughout the entire festival, Portland residents and visitors alike will be sure to find the right tune to groove to. The Portland Folk Festival takes place on the second Saturday of May, after rain.

If you are wondering what to wear to this Portland Folk Festival with a Native American theme, rest assured you won't have to worry about not matching the theme. From the Portland Folk Festival Lineup, we've highlighted some of the more traditional Indian garb you may want to dress into: leggings, long skirts, long-sleeved blouses, sun dresses, and ponchos. Long hair was also recommended as part of the Indian garb attire. For Western clothing, leather jackets or jeans, long long-sleeved shirts, or a plain t-shirt should suffice. If you are coming in from out-of-town, a small backpack and some leather boots can also be useful.

Doors open at 8pm, with performances starting promptly after that. Enjoy the fun-filled days of great music, food, and art at the Portland Folk Festival. The event is held at various locations in the Portland area. No matter where you go, just know you'll be able to experience the traditional Indian arts and craft at this Portland Folk Festival with free admission.
